* a fifth slot in your inventory to store armor and weapons
* a free pane in your xunlai chest
* the zaishen menagerie
* the zaishen challenge for both pve and pvp
* account wide hom ?

you can pay for :

* more storage panes
* unlocking all pets and evolutions for pvp (just like unlock packs already exist for skills and items)

so what the **** are you complaining about ?

Anet announced a big storage update, we have it, we even have things we wouldn't have expected (zaishen menagerie and challenge), all for free

they never said anything to build up your expectations to unrealistic levels, you did

Sarcasm apart, this has got to be the silliest update ever made, due to the expectation that had been made before-hand.

People are getting tired of GuildWars for a long time now and this isn't going to help...I thought they would make something huge but if this is the best they got, I'm sad about that, it just shows the game is starting to die.

People have to remember that expectations are made by themselves, all anet said is that it would be a major update, wich it actually is. And I assume that's not everything the April update will bring, there are still undisclosed features we don't know about.

Don't overlook the fact that the extra storage tabs allow all the chars. to get to it once they have access. You don't have to search each mule to find that you think might be on them, than find out that it is not there, and you have to search another mule, etc...

The zaishen menagerie, I am so hoping that it will allow us to change pets at will and park our charmed pets there without having to lose them when you want another one

What expectations did you have? it would seem they have done both things they stated they would be doing (Storage improvements and the HoM Update) plus two things they didnt tell us about (frequently requested Pet Stable and the Zaishen Challenge quests) and according to them they have a couple of other things still not announced so i really want to know what you were expecting from this update.

I do find myself rather underwhelmed by this update. Nonetheless, its not like I pay for it so meh.

The price tag on the storage does seem a little steep, considering the price of a new character slot - and of another account!

edit: ok, and its not coming out next thursday either? the underwhelmingness is growing.

Kinda like the update, expected more, but we all made the expectations ourselves, so i still like it. Extra storage is good, and the other new stuff is pretty cool as well.. What did you guys expect? Free kanaxais for everyone, or unlimited storage space? I think anet did a ok job. Dont cry, everything you get is for free.. (unless you buy storage but as said before, there are better alternatives for that.)

9.99 if you want it, zero if you don't. i like the personal storage bag slot upgrade though. i am a zero guy. my pay for anything other than actual games or expansions is over. great idea for the people that want it though.

This is very misleading. There is a promotion/contest to win a free storage pane, and nobody has any solid details on how you get it yet. It's not like you're going to login to the game and suddenly there's a new tab on your Storage Chest for everybody.

This Update was announced as a storage and hom one, you get unexpected free stuff, that has been wanted for ages.
Yes, lots of people have already asked for a way to switch pets, or for more pvp and high level pve content.

An adult would realize that things don't always go your way. An adult realizes that running a game costs money. An adult surely wouldn't get their panties in a bunch over not getting exactly what they wanted on a silver platter in a free update. If you are an "adult" as you claim you have some growing up to do.

I agree entirely, GW is basically making no money because of their free charge. BASICALLY that means they are losing money to maintain the server AND they are losing more by trying to develop GW2. I am happy just enough that they made The Bonus Mission Pack and the MOX quests.

Personally if you have too many golds/ precious items that your current storage doesn't have the capabilities to hold, consider playing a new game as you probably soaked GW in for all its worth already. OR have fun with the game again and start another account/char from fresh, trying more challenging things.

You guys don't need to complain about this update being delayed, in fact i doubt it will be in time for the April update and perhaps will come in May or perhaps June.

ArenaNet, you're KIND OF getting the idea, but not quite.

I won't be buying the extra storage, but keep at it - eventually you'll offer 7-hero parties and when that time comes, I'll step right up and buy it.
